Section 01

Warranty Coverage

HearSilk stands behind the quality of every product we sell. All hearing aids and hearing-related devices purchased through HearSilk are covered by a limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from HearSilk via our official website at hearsilk.com. Products purchased through unauthorized resellers are not eligible for warranty service through HearSilk.

What is covered

Defects in materials or workmanship that arise under normal use during the warranty period

Internal component failures not caused by physical damage, moisture, or misuse

Malfunctions confirmed to be manufacturing faults upon inspection

Section 02

Warranty Period by Product

Warranty duration varies by product category. The applicable warranty period for your specific device is stated on the product page and in your order confirmation. The general guidelines are as follows:

The warranty period begins on the date of delivery as confirmed by the shipping carrier. Please retain your order confirmation email as proof of purchase — it will be required for any warranty claim.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage or malfunction resulting from the following:

Physical damage — drops, impacts, crushing, or any damage caused by accident or mishandling

Moisture or liquid damage — exposure to water, sweat, rain, or humidity beyond the product's rated resistance level

Unauthorized modification or repair — any attempt to open, modify, or repair the device by anyone other than an authorized service provider

Normal wear and tear — gradual deterioration of parts such as ear tips, tubing, wax guards, or battery doors from regular use

Improper use — use not in accordance with the product instructions or user manual

Lost or stolen products — we are unable to process warranty claims for missing devices

Consumable components — domes, wax filters, ear tips, batteries, and other items designed to be regularly replaced

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, follow these steps:

Email us at sales@hearsilk.com

Use the subject line: "Warranty Claim – [Your Order Number]". Include your full name, order number, the product name, and a clear description of the issue.

Attach photos or a short video

Clearly showing the defect or malfunction. This helps us assess your claim faster and avoids unnecessary shipping.

Wait for our response

Our team will review your claim within 1–2 business days and confirm whether it qualifies under this warranty. We will then provide you with further instructions.

Ship the product to us if required

If physical inspection is needed, we will provide a return address. Please do not ship any product without prior authorization from our team — unauthorized returns cannot be processed.

Section 05

Replacement Process

Upon confirmation of a valid warranty claim, HearSilk will ship a replacement unit of the same model at no charge. We do not offer cash refunds under this warranty — only like-for-like replacement.

If the exact model is no longer available, we will offer a replacement of equivalent specification and value. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes an equivalent product.

Replacement warranty: Your replacement unit carries a new warranty for the remainder of your original warranty period, or 90 days from the date of replacement dispatch — whichever is longer.

Section 06

Return Shipping

The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the defective product back to HearSilk for inspection.

We strongly recommend shipping via a trackable carrier and retaining your shipping receipt. HearSilk is not responsible for products lost or damaged in transit to us. Please pack the product securely and include your order number and full name inside the parcel.

Section 07

Limitations

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. It cannot be transferred if the product is sold, gifted, or otherwise passed to another person.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary by state or jurisdiction.

Disclaimer: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, this warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy for defective products. HearSilk shall not be liable for any incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
